This privacy and cookie policy describes the processing of your personal data if you are a Daxso customer, partner, driver partner, or employee.

We at Daxso are committed to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and other privacy legislation and to processing your personal data in accordance with good data protection practices.
This privacy policy helps you understand what personal data Daxso collects about you and why and how we use the personal data we have. You will also receive information about your rights as a data subject and how you can exercise them.
We collect your personal data when you become our customer, use our services, participate in events we organize, or otherwise do business with us by submitting a contact request or registering as a user of the service. We also collect your personal data when you become our driver partner or are our employee.
We obtain the personal data we process mainly from you yourself and by collecting information about what Daxso services you use. We may also receive personal data from external sources, such as partners or service providers. We may also process financial information from company data, such as credit or payment ability information.
Below we list the personal data you provide yourself. We process this data for the purposes defined in section 2 below and only to the extent that the data is necessary for the implementation of each purpose.
In addition to the information you provide yourself, we obtain information from Traficom when necessary, regarding e.g. driving rights.
From website visitors and users of our digital services, we collect behavioral data. These include data collected through cookies described below and information received from our partners about what marketing target group a website visitor represents. This data is not combined with customer data.
We process your data for ordering and delivering services based on the agreement between you and Daxo and to manage our contractual relationship with you. For this purpose, we often also need to verify your identity. We also need your data so that we can contact you when necessary regarding your orders or when you contact us yourself, for example, to obtain additional information or make an appointment. We call such communication customer communication. Also in these situations, the processing of your personal data is based on the agreement between Daxso and you or Daxso's legitimate interest in managing and maintaining the customer relationship. If you wish, you can cancel receiving customer communications by contacting tietosuoja@daxso.fi.
Driver partners work in a subcontracting relationship with Daxso. The register records driver partners' personal data including name, home address, email address, phone number, personal identification number, account number, and a photo of the face and driving license. The driving license information also saves the driving license classes, validity, and date of issue. Driver partners may be asked to update driving license information during the assignment relationship in order to verify the validity of the driving right. When using the driver application, the terminal's analytics data is stored. When performing transfer driving, the phone's location data is also stored, which is used to track the route driven by the car.
Daxso employees store employment-related essential information such as name, personal identification number, account number, tax card, home address, phone number, email address, and employment and contract-related information, salary information, and other necessary information.
We use your personal data based on our legitimate interest for developing products, services, customer service, and sales, process management, and reporting. For example, we produce reports and analyses on how customer feedback has been responded to and how our services could better meet our customers' expectations and needs. We also process personal data in order to handle complaints and customer feedback we receive. Feedback received from customer satisfaction and reputation studies is also used to help develop services and business. You may receive an electronic customer satisfaction survey when you have done business with Daxso. You can refuse to receive customer satisfaction surveys by sending a message about it to tietosuoja@daxso.fi.
We are subject to legal obligations that require the collection and retention of personal data. These include, for example, obligations arising from traffic insurance legislation, statutory accounting obligations, and taxation obligations. Data may also be processed to fulfill obligations based on legislation concerning money laundering or terrorism prevention. We also process personal data to be able to prepare for legal requirements, such as requirements arising from liability for defects.
We process your necessary data to take care of the information security of our services and communication networks. For example, we require logging in to our services, use necessary technologies to detect security threats, and use data collected through these technologies to investigate possible error situations. When necessary, we also use personal data to prevent and investigate misuse of our services. We implement these purposes based on our legitimate interest.
Some cookies are essential for the website to work properly, and therefore these cookies cannot be refused. For other cookies, you can choose which cookies you allow.
Data is stored only as long as necessary for the purposes of personal data processing. The data retention period may vary by data group and is mainly determined according to the legal obligations described in section 2.4. Data deletion times and deletion practices are defined and outdated and unnecessary personal data is deleted.
Your data is processed only by persons who have the right to process personal data and who have a need to process your personal data due to their work tasks. Your personal data may also be transferred based on a contract to outsourced service providers for processing commissioned by us. Service providers process your personal data in ways we define to produce our services, and they do not have the right to use your data for their own purposes.
We use external service providers for the following purposes: payment processing, billing and collection, accounting and payroll.
We process data mainly within the European Union and the European Economic Area. However, the producer of our web services and applications may occasionally transfer personal data to companies providing network traffic and infrastructure services located outside Europe. In this case, data is transferred especially to the United States.
You can check what information Daxso has about you and request correction or updating of your information by contacting tietosuoja@daxso.fi. You also have the right to object to the processing of your data, for example for marketing purposes, or to demand restriction of processing. You have the right to ask us to delete your data. At your request, we will delete your data unless we have an obligation to retain it, for example due to legislation related to accounting and taxation.
